Cookie Policy
How roboshiftlab.life uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated 10 July 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. They help sites function, remember preferences and understand usage patterns.
2. Who is responsible?
RoboShift Lab, 150 Vernon Drive, Suite 105, Vancouver, BC V6A 3P5, Canada, controls cookies on roboshiftlab.life. Privacy questions: [email protected]. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy under PIPEDA and BC PIPA.
3. How you control cookies
On first visit, our cookie banner (id cookie-banner) offers Accept all, Reject all, and Customise. Rejecting non-essential cookies disables optional analytics. Customise redirects to this page for detail. Your choice is stored in browser local storage under key rsl_cookie_consent for six months, after which we ask again. You may also clear cookies via browser settings; essential cookies may reappear on return visits because they are required for basic operation.
4. Categories we use
Essential cookies
Required for security, load balancing and remembering cookie consent itself. These cannot be disabled through our banner without breaking expected behaviour. Legal basis: legitimate interest in secure site operation and consent record-keeping.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With consent, we may use privacy-oriented analytics to count page views, referrers and approximate geography in aggregated form. We do not use analytics to profile individuals for advertising or sell data to brokers. IP addresses may be truncated before storage.
Functional cookies
We currently do not set marketing or social-media tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request renewed consent before activating new non-essential categories.
5. Cookie and storage table
- rsl_cookie_consent (local storage) — stores banner choice and timestamp · Duration: six months · Provider: RoboShift Lab · Purpose: honour consent
- Session identifiers (server/session) — maintain secure connections · Duration: session · Provider: hosting infrastructure · Purpose: security
- Analytics identifiers (if accepted) — distinguish visits in aggregate · Duration: up to thirteen months · Provider: analytics subcontractor · Purpose: usage statistics
6. Third-party content
We load Google Fonts for typography. Google may process technical request data according to its policies. We minimize third-party scripts to reduce tracking surface. Embedded media is not used on this Site at launch.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform Canadian standard for DNT response. We treat an explicit Reject choice in our banner as authoritative for optional cookies on this Site.
8. Updates
We will post changes here with an updated date. Material changes reset the consent timer where required.
